Hello! I’m Tirtza, a user experience designer based in Berlin. My unique life journey has developed my profound understanding of human nature and its diverse needs.
Born in Jerusalem into an Ultra-orthodox family, I was the fifth daughter among seven siblings. Growing up in a community with constrained views on women’s independence and rights, I felt the world offered to me was limiting. Taking a bold step, I distanced myself from my family and the community, embarking on a new chapter where I had to assimilate into unfamiliar cultural norms from scratch.
This transformative experience fortified my resilience. I’ve since embraced challenges, swiftly adapting to novel environments with a self-driven zeal to learn. Guided by values of humanism, human rights, and feminism, I champion the principles of accessibility, beauty, and aesthetics in everyday life. Becoming a human-centric designer was, for me, a natural alignment of my beliefs and talents.
